Andrew Gordon spent 20 years at Pixar animation studios as an animator, Directing animator, Supervising Animator, Director of Promotional Content and Intern Training Lead. He has worked on some of Pixars most beloved films such as Toy Story 2 and 3, Monsters Inc and Monsters U, Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, Cars, WallE, Incredibles 1 and 2 and Ratatouille as well as many others. Having led the Pixar internship four times and mentoring with Founder Ed Catmull, Andrew left Pixar in 2017 to take some risks. Andrew did a small stint as Co-Director on Minions 2 – Rise of Gru and is now in London as the Head of Character Animation for DNEG, A global animation and Academy Award winning studio.Andrew was the Co-Founder of the Animation Collaborative. A school for learning high level feature animation.
He is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences and a Visual Effects Society Winner for his work on Finding Nemo.
Andrew also created many of Secret Rooms at Pixar. These secret rooms represented the innovative culture of Pixar, in which Steve Jobs spoke about in his biography. He currently lives in London England with his wife and two children.
